Morning coffee on Mountain top

Having a day of and children at school my wife and me decided to take our ebikes and cycle up to the Rabenkopf which is a mountain in an area called Jachenau not far from munich. I have to admit that even with electric bikes going up 968 meters was not all that easy but it was really much fun. The last about 250 meters you have to go up by feet but don’t miss it you will be rewarded with a fantastic view over mountains and several south Bavarian lakes.

Going up and down took us 3 hours. Below the Rabenkopf there is a small cottage called Staffelalm where you get something to eat during sommer months. Also you shouldn’t miss the waterfall which is a short detour from the main road but it is absolutely marvelous and during sommer months you can take a bath there.
