My thoughts on the Unihertz Titan after about one month

Having used the Titan for about one month now, I thought it might be the right time now to share my experiences and thoughts with you. While a lot of people are currently discussing the specs and size of the upcoming Titan pocket, I am still very content with the bigger Titan as it is the ideal typing device also for longer text passages on the go. My first smartphone had been a Sony Ericsson P910 back in the old days of symbian which long time dominated the smartphone world in the heyday of Nokia Communicator which I wasnt able to afford at that time long before Android and Apple IOS hit the market. Since this days I always had a thing for keyboard phones, although i had a lot of Android devices and Iphones in the meantime. At work i got in touch with blackberries and really loved this devices for their productivity and simple being reachable. In my private life i still tended more to android and loved the Blackberry Priv with its slider design but never warmed up with the later TCL models Key1 and Key2 which I bought and sold again relatively quick. At that time i moved on to Samsungs Note series which i always liked because of the Spen although I have to admit that i do not really needed it. However taking partial screenshots is great with the Pen. While climbing up the Note series ladder which for me has stopped with my current Note 9, i always checked back at the physical keyboard phone alternatives which resulted in buying a used Gemini Pda and upgrade to the Cosmo Communicator. The Cosmo reminded my pretty much of the good old Nokia Communicator and i was on the edge of making it my daily driver but the clamshell formfactor was was finally the reason not to do it although in the contrary to the Gemini the Cosmo has a small secondary display which made a least phone calls easier. Finally the Titan enters the stage. Ok it is not a lightweight device but it is perfect for typing – quite a passport experience – perfect as an E-Book-Reader in combination with the german public library App Onleihe. It is perfect for mails, for writing blogposts which i am currently doing with it :-), reading newspaper, listening to Spotify or watching Netflix and has an amazing battery life. Especially the combination with my Office 365 home subscription makes it the ideal companion as all my documents are available wherever I need it. I love the size of the screen and do not think i would prefer the Titan Pocket screen. Being able to change screen rotation seperately for all apps solved all my small issues so far. Only drawback especially in regards to blogging so far is the camery which is the reason I still have the Note with me but using the open camera app on Titan the camera isn’t that bad after all and what Unihertz gives you with the Titan in regards to price and specs is really great. Still being the tech guy I am i will always look whats on the market but for now even with the Astro Slide coming up I am really content with the Titan. By the way I changed the launcher to Smart Launcher which i am using for years on all of my android devices and it works really great. I appreciate your opinion. Feel free to leave any comment here. Your’s chris
