New Updates for the Solarflow balcony power plant station

It’s time again to bring all the news from the last few days about the Solarflow balcony power plant storage solution from Zendure together in one place to save you from digging through the individual posts in the Solarflow Facebook group.

If you haven’t heard of Solarflow, I recommend reading my first two articles:

Lets start:

PV Input:

Solarflow PV Hub

According to the specification, the device has an input of 800 watts. Many forum participants had asked themselves whether it is also possible to connect modules with a higher wattage.
From the forum answers we can now see that a maximum overbooking of 1.1 to 1.3 x 800 is recommended and two modules with up to 550 watts each are possible as long as the PV panel setup is within a voltage of 16-60 volts and 13 amps of amperage.

An interesting addition that is discussed again and again is the possibility of connecting a third solar panel directly to the microinverter, which is integrated between the PV hub of the Solarflow system and the home network. In this way, the yield of this third panel is fed directly into the home network at all times, while the other two solar panels are connected to the PV hub and, depending on the set threshold value, either fill the battery or also feed into the home network. As soon as the battery is fully charged, the set limitation of the output to the inverter is lifted and the maximum power is passed on to the inverter for the house network supply.

I find this solution absolutely exciting myself and plan to try it out as well. The dimensions of the PV hub are 363x246x64 mm

Battery technology:

AB1000 Solarflow system battery

LifePo4, 48 volt system, up to 4 battery packs can be used on the PV hub. Each battery 48 volt 20 Ah, 10 year guarantee and weight 11kg. As a complete solution, Solarflow can only work with the system’s own batteries. Battery dimensions: 350x200x186.5 mm The maximum capacity is 3,840 Wh

Price:

up to know the final price is not known

This has not yet been announced. First teasers show a price tag of 1.??? Euro. According to forum replies, the price will be announced in April.

Release date:
For this, too, April was mentioned in the Solarflow Group.

All relevant information about the device should be available by now and the Solar Flow page from Zendure also offers a good overview of the product with detailed images. Meanwhile, Zendure also presented the product live to the public at the French renewable energy fair “BePOSITIVE” and published pictures on Facebook.

As always, I’m very interested in your opinion and I hope this overview helped. I myself am also eagerly awaiting the Solarflow. As soon as I hold the device in my hands, I will of course tell you about my experiences with it.

Your Chris
