an evening at lake Starnberg

I know my current posts deal a lot with the lakes surrounding my hometown Wolfratshausen within a short auto trip range or sometimes even bike range. However going to these places or wandering in the bavarian mountains keeps my mind at rest Düring covid times. The nearest lake from me is lake starnberg where the legendary king ludwig the second is supposed to have drowned. It is very beautiful and mostly peaceful if you come there in early morning or late in evening times and not necessarily on the weekend where everybody also from further away comes there. There are several places like in the town Starnberg where you can rent a boat also electric boats if you prefer that. I extremely recommend the icecream parlor allorasignora in the town Seeshaupt although i have to admit that for me the best icecream comes  from the icecream parlor Roma in my hometown Wolfratshausen. During  warmer days i really enjoy coming here for a short bath even on my way to work by bike. As we have been there this evening we had a visit from two swans. The athmosphere with the sinking sun over the sea with the swans was undescribable, Check the photo for yourself. What is your favorite place around Lake Starnberg?
