Balcony power station Solarflow from Zendure

With “Solarflow” a balcony power station storage, Zendure, the established supplier of power stations and solar generators, has announced another innovative product which we are eager to get our hands on.

In addition to the recently released Minitower 1 from the Swiss company Soleis AG and the Solmate system from EET Energy, Zendure is now reviving the previously relatively scarse market for storage solutions especially for balcony power plants.

So far, apart from the above-mentioned providers or self-build solutions, the motto has been: Unused electricity is given away – and not only that – in times when there is no sun, at least part of the electricity given away is bought back.

The Solarflow is intended to remedy this by temporarily storing solar energy in a battery and passing it on to the home network when there is no sun. Since the solar solution is integrated between the solar panels and the inverter, the connection is very simple and operation continues to meet the requirement for a maximum feed-in of 600 watts in Germany so far, as long as you use a correspondingly compliant inverter here, which supplies a maximum of 600 watts to the grid feeds.

The community is therefore eagerly awaiting the prize for the new Solarflow solution. A survey that you are invited to when you register for the product suggests that different memory sizes may be offered.

Another plus for the Solarflow solution is that existing inverters can continue to be used. As a person who is enthusiastic about “solar” technology, I still have a few questions regarding app integration, number of solar panels, price, etc. and I am looking forward to testing the device. As soon as the opportunity arises, I will report in detail on my experiences and connection ideas.

In any case, I am curious how suitable the system will be for everyday use in a 4-person family household.

What do you think about storage solutions for balcony power plants? Critical or positive – I look forward to your feedback.
Your Chris
